So, Which One's Willie?

This is why I love the internet.  For the past 30 years or so, I've half-remembered this song, but only recently (as in, tonight) had the inclination to go looking for it.  Mostly, it pops into my head on Fridays.

In my mind, I remember hearing it on WQEN-FM - The Super-Q104 in Gadsden, Alabama - as a kid, either as part of their morning show at the time, or as the big 5 o'clock Friday weekend kickoff song.

I don't know when you're reading this, but in the Not Ready for FM studios, it's a Friday afternoon in 1979 all over again, and Wet Willie's album "Which One's Willie?" is blasting out over the monitors, bringing back an old, happy memory...

The first episode of the Not Ready for FM podcast is now available!  While I haven't had time to work on an automatic feed for downloads, you can still listen to it here, or on the Not Ready for FM Facebook page.

You've Got the Love - Florence + The Machine

Meet Our Consultant!

Preparations are underway for the new podcast.  I've been watching episodes of 'WKRP in Cincinnati" to get in the right mindset - rebellious, independent rock-n-roll, fueled by large amounts of coffee.  Actually, except for the coffee, I'm not any of those things.  It is cool, however, that one of the local TV stations has two episodes of WKRP on their second channel Sunday nights.

Oh, and since a podcast isn't a real radio station, that means we don't get a real consultant.  This is as close as we get to the real thing:
Anyway, hang on, and we'll be up soon.  Details when available, right here on NotReadyforFM.com.
