I Could Get Used To You...

Missing someone special tonight.  We shared a love of both country and '80s music.  This was one of our favorites, and it played one of the few times we danced together.

Good night, gorgeous.

So, Which One's Willie?

This is why I love the internet.  For the past 30 years or so, I've half-remembered this song, but only recently (as in, tonight) had the inclination to go looking for it.  Mostly, it pops into my head on Fridays.

In my mind, I remember hearing it on WQEN-FM - The Super-Q104 in Gadsden, Alabama - as a kid, either as part of their morning show at the time, or as the big 5 o'clock Friday weekend kickoff song.

I don't know when you're reading this, but in the Not Ready for FM studios, it's a Friday afternoon in 1979 all over again, and Wet Willie's album "Which One's Willie?" is blasting out over the monitors, bringing back an old, happy memory...

Your Christmas Memories - on Episode 3 of Not Ready for FM

Work's already started on Not Ready for FM Episode 3, and since it's December already, and the weather's getting cooler, let's make it a Christmas show!

Give me a shout with what you'd like to hear, especially if you have a song that brings back a particular Christmas memory. Send a message on the Not Ready for FM Facebook page, email me at notreadyforfm@gmail.com, send a message on Twitter to @NotReadyforFM, or even better, call the Not Ready for FM Voicemail Line at 256-405-9459 and tell your story. All the contact information is here, too, if you're curious.
